MLA format is the appropriate way in which sources should be cited. This could also include making local revisions in order to address your errors. In writing project three I showed my strengths in understanding MLA format. This starts with your header in your writing. The header should contain your full name, date assignment is due, the professor’s name, and your class es section. Each time I used a quote it would always be followed by the authors last name and page number in parenthesis. And My last name and page number are always included in the top right-hand corner of each page. A good example from my project three of quoting correctly is, “Herzog adds that “We middlers see the world in shades of grey rather than in clear blacks and whites of committed animal activists and their equally vociferous opponents.”(Herzog 6)” Not only did I cite the author, but I also introduced him before actually using any of his work as a source. Lastly, for your works cited page, you must include the author’s name, the articles title, publication date, and the date you accessed the source. I demonstrated my understanding of this in project three’s works cited page,” Wallace, David F. “Consider the Lobster.” Consider the Lobster: And Other Essays. 2005. Accessed 10 April 2019.”
